What to expect in my Drum Lessons
I enjoy building skills in music based on student's interests and passions. Hence the student's unique inspirations are the cornerstone of a custom curriculum that aligns with their personal goals. Of course, for the more undecided players, I enjoy providing varied foundational tools to foster a broad understanding of the musical landscape that can be useful in any genre or situation. In that light, the first lesson will include an assessment of goals and current skills that launches into a guided tour of the instrument's anatomy, technique and practical playing exercises. Most importantly, I will guide the student on HOW to learn effectively and efficiently. I believe in building momentum though the accumulation of wins and keeping the student reaching just beyond their abilities, helping to stoke enthusiasm and drive for continued practice.
