Hi, my name is Ryan, I am a musician from Wilmington. I have been a student of music for 6 years. My musical influences include Musical Theater, Jazz, Pop, and Rock, and I also enjoy expanding my music tasters! My teaching style can best be described as hands-on, persistent, and relaxed. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I practice until it’s the best that i can make it. In my lessons, you can expect to learn theory, proper techniques, scales, and more! I like to tell my students don’t stress as learning happens best in a relaxed and fun environment. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing my students grow as well as learning new things by teaching. My favorite performance was the NBC broadcast of Jesus Christ Superstar. My students love that I am optimistic and fun. I primarily teach piano, but I can also teach guitar. My approach as a teacher is to create a foundation and then expand.
