I've been playing drums since 1960. I love working with songwriters and have done so as often as possible. I've made great music with John Nitzinger, Bugs Henderson, Kinky Friedman, Delbert McClinton, Jerry Lynn Williams, LeeRoy Parnell, B.W. Stevenson, Susan Gibson, Rockin' Sidney, Burton Gaar, Miss Molly, Rocky Hill, and more. I love all kinds of music and have played many types such as country, zydeco, rock, and blues. My music has allowed me to meet many interesting people and to travel, which I also love. My passions include songwriting, Lilly (my Australian Cattle dog), sailing, playing a mean shuffle, and traveling. I have lived for years under the impression that Delbert McClinton hung the moon. No one has proved that wrong, yet. I don't have much family so my adopted family includes all the wonderful players I have had the opportunity to play with and know. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
