Sean has always loved music from an early age. He began playing saxophone at the age of 11, began learning guitar at 16, and continued his education by attending the University of Missouri-Kansas City for Music Composition. His musical influences include The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Yes, Audioslave, Beck, Fleet Foxes and more. Sean's favorite thing about music is when entire worlds are created through effective performance and arrangement, and his favorite thing about teaching music is sharing his passion and knowledge with students that are eager to learn. One of his favorite teaching experiences is writing songs with his after schoolclass, where students have the opportunity to dictate the music and lyrics themselves.
