Hi, I'm Chris! With a dynamic journey through various musical landscapes, my passion for music has been an ever-evolving odyssey of learning and growth. Beginning as a trained jazz pianist, my formative years were enriched by immersion in prestigious musical institutions. As a member of the Peabody Jazz Orchestra and various small ensembles at Johns Hopkins during my high school tenure, I honed my skills and developed a profound understanding of jazz theory and performance. My musical exploration expanded further during my junior year of high school when I was accepted into the Berklee 5-week youth program, where my focus on music production and piano skills deepened. Summers were transformative periods, as I delved into the University of Miami's jazz program, absorbing the vibrant musical culture. The rhythm of my education shifted when I was awarded a full scholarship to Loyola University New Orleans' Hip Hop and R&B program, where I delved into a new realm of musical expression. Live performance has been an integral part of my musical journey, with numerous gigs as a professional pianist punctuating my high school and collegiate years. Alongside performance, my dedication to music theory has been unwavering, enriching my compositions and improvisations. Moreover, the invaluable experience of shadowing Thomas Dolby during high school provided invaluable career insight, shaping my trajectory as an artist and professional in the industry. Currently, as an industry professional producer and studio engineer at Elation Studios in Metairie, my work extends to collaborations with major labels, artists, and producers, illustrating the culmination of years of dedication and passion in the realm of music.
