Hi there, I'm Cynthia! I am a university student and have a beautiful family. I'm 27 years old and love being out in nature as well as teaching music! The joy and peace I have found in music has guided me through the most blissful and the most testing times in my life. There is a passion inside of me to teach others how to feel such a connection with music as well. The numerous opportunities I have had to develop teaching skills and to share my talents has led others to seek me as their or their child’s piano instructor. With these abilities and passions, I know I can help others find music to be a safe haven, just as it has blessed me.

What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Students should expect to feel edified as well as encouraged to try their best. I enjoy creating a fun environment where we can laugh together while learning to love music.
Formal Education:
I have a high school diploma and am currently a student at Brigham Young University-Idaho. My anticipated degree is an Associate's degree in general studies with a minor in piano pedagogy.
Private Education:
I received piano lessons for about three years when I was a young girl. Most of my private piano instruction had a religious emphasis and helped me be the accompanist for my church.
Performing Experience:
I was the accompanist for my church for about 5 years beginning when I was 14 years old. I also provided accompaniment for choral performances throughout this time.
Experience Teaching:
I have about 8 years of experience as a teacher. This is through being a missionary for my church and having to teach all day and every day for a year and a half. Also, through being a music leader for children, a youth and adult leader, a choir director, and a teacher for children at my church. In addition, I have also been an assistant teacher at a preschool and have taught private piano lessons on my own. Currently, I am a homeschool teacher for my children.
