Hello! My name is Maxwell, but most people call me Max. I've been playing piano since 2015. I graduated from the University of South Florida in May 2024 with a bachelor's degree in Communication, but half of my time in college was spent learning Music Education, and it is still my passion today. I have also been a part-time substitute teacher for the past two years for Pinellas County Schools. I work with mostly middle-schoolers and high-schoolers, but I am comfortable working with elementary-aged kids, too. I substitute for multiple band teachers in the county because they like to utilize my background in music education for their classes in their absence. I'm looking to do this part-time along with substituting, or to eliminate substituting entirely and mainly focus on private lessons. It's something I've wanted to do for a long time and is something I really enjoy doing. Some fun facts about me: My favorite pianist and composer is Chopin. My favorite bands are Yes, Tool, and King Crimson in that order. Lastly, my main hobby besides piano is participating in charity tournaments for a fighting video game that I play.
