Holding a master’s degree in music with a concentration in vocal performance, my journey has been shaped by mentors who ignited my passion for the art and craft of music. With a diverse background in teaching, performing, and vocal coaching, I have been privileged to guide students in finding their authentic voices and overcoming vocal and performance challenges. I bring extensive expertise in vocal techniques, performance skills, and a commitment to preserving the rich musical heritage of Negro Spirituals. My goal is to create an inclusive and supportive environment where every student feels empowered to grow, explore, and reach their fullest potential in music.

My extensive background in vocal performance and my passion for music education, both of which were influences from the mentors who aided me, inform my teaching style. I will provide personalized feedback, constructive critiques, and tailored exercises to help each student achieve their full potential. My goal is to not only improve their technical skills but also to instill a deep appreciation for the art of singing and the rich tradition of vocal music.
