Hi, my name is Phillip and I am a drummer from Austin, Tx. I have been a student of music for many years. My musical influences include mostly anything we can lay a good beat to and I also enjoy challenges. My teaching style can best be described as fun and goal oriented. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I believe anyone can be a good drummer if you play from the heart. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to feel the beat. I like to tell my students always stay positive and there will be lessons learned easy and hard ways sometimes. My favorite thing about teaching is making an impact and foot print. My favorite performance is anytime in front of crowds. My students love that I am open book. I primarily teach drums, but I can also teach some band/drumline.
