About Me

My name is Tyleek. I am a trumpet player with percussion experience also. I started playing trumpet at the age of 10 & have been played ever since. I started college in 2018 after graduating high school. I took a break from school once I found out I was going to be a father. My daughter’s name is Tylah & she’s 3 years old. She showing a bit of interest in music so soon I’ll be working with her on whatever she decides to play. Her mother is a saxophone player so she’ll most definitely be versatile. I love music & I love to teach. Not only do I love to teach but I also love to share small secrets with student & even adults on how to sound better & how to find your own personal sound. I like to call it “sauce.” I love to share the “sauce” with my student. I encourage anyone wanting to be good on their instrument to listen to & study the greats, imitate them & become greater!
