Eric began playing saxophone at the age of 10. Over the years, he developed his skills further by joining his middle and high school bands and going to college for music. He gained performance experience in the classical area by performing recitals at Northwestern State University. Though Eric can teach many genres of music, his musical personal favorites are classical and jazz which had great influence on his style of playing. Eric loves music because he believes that it is a universal language that can bring people together and loves teaching music because he wants to be able to change lives and push people forward like his teachers have done for him.
