Hi, my name is Emma, and I am an instructor from Guitar Center. I have a degree in Vocal Music Education from University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. My musical styles I trained for under my vocal instructors at the university include classical and musical theatre and I also enjoy pop styles such as Billie Eillish, Taylor Swift, etc. and many other popular artists My teaching style can best be described as interpersonal. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I believe instilling the love of music first creates a pathway to life long learning and growth musically for years to come. In my lessons, you can expect to learn proper singing technique, how to read rhythms, and familiarizing yourself with your own vocal capabilities. I like to tell my students learning a new instrument is like learning to ride a bike and the voice is an instrument just like the piano!
