Hi, my name is Chuanyuan you can call me Chuan and I am a countertenor based in Louisa, VA. I have been a student of music for 8 years, and a professional opera singer for 3. After graduating from UVA in music, I did my masters in New York, and Artist Diploma in Cincinnati. As someone who really learned how to sing, I individualize my teaching method so my students are receiving what they need at the right time. I focus on classical music and I sincerely I hope to inspire the artistry and curiosity in you. In my lessons, you can expect to learn about vocal technique including breathing mechanism, resonance, and body alignment, and a variety of classical repertoire. I like to tell my students to think of themselves as gifts to the world. My favorite thing about teaching is to see many small improvements turn into big ones through the passage of time.
