Hi, my name is Myra. I am from Barberton, Ohio, and I have played the violin for 12 years. I have loved music since I was young, inspiring me to learn the violin. I continued with music throughout school, eventually pursuing a music degree with a violin performance concentration in college. I broadened my horizons in music significantly while in college. I am a classically trained violinist, but I was exposed to and performed music from various periods in college. In my final year of college, I joined the American String Teachers Association, which gave me my first opportunity to teach some students in the area. I fell in love with teaching after that. Since graduation, I have been pursuing a career teaching violin lessons. I am looking forward to connecting with and teaching students with a variety of ambitions, from a beginner to an advanced level. I hope to meet you soon!
