Hi, my name is Eve and I am a singer/songwriter from Louisville, KY. I have been a student of music for 15 years. My musical influences include Amy Winehouse, Beyonce, and Frank Ocean, and I also enjoy Karen Slack, Renee Fleming, and Leontyne Price. My teaching style can best be described as fun and personalized. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I believe everybody can be the star of their own show. Believe in yourself and work hard-the rest will follow. In my lessons, you can expect to learn music theory, musicality, and styling. I like to tell my students that practice doesn’t make perfect, it makes progress. My favorite thing about teaching is getting to know my students. I want to know your goals and aspirations as well as your personality. My favorite performance was my most recent LA show at The Wonzimer Art Gallery. My students love that I make them feel comfortable and encouraged. I primarily teach voice, but I can also teach songwriting. My approach as a teacher is to get to know each student individually as every voice is different. When it comes to songwriting I want to show you how to put your heart on the page.
