About Me

My name is Mary, and I am a music teacher in the St. Louis, MO region. I have been playing music since I was eight years old, and have been teaching for the past ten years to students of varying backgrounds, ages, and experience levels. My primary goal in teaching is to instill a love for music in my students through a balanced lesson format of music theory, performance skills, and technique practice. I have taught students from ages five to adult, and it is my goal to sculpt my lesson model to what best suits a student's skill set/level, interests, goals, and attention span. I have taught music specifically piano/keyboard as a self-employed business owner and instructor over the past decade, as well as working for several peers and music schools as a teacher and accompanist. Having taught a multitude of students from all walks of life, I am excited to work with new students, and would love connect with you to begin your music journey!
