Solomon began playing the trumpet at the age of 12. Over the years, he developed his skills further by pursuing a professional career in music performance and pedagogy. He gained performance experience in the classical trumpet/jazz area by playing at such events as the National Trumpet Competition, the Jazz Education Network conference and with acts such as Douglas Hedwig, Eric Siereveld, Ashley Hall to list a few all internationally acclaimed artists. Though Solomon can teach many genres of music, his musical personal favorites are classical, jazz and Latin Jazz music with a passion for chamber music which had great influence on his style of playing.Solomon loves music because it is universal and bridges the gap between economic and social status. He loves teaching music because he believes in the power of impacting knowledge to others. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned professional, Solomon can help you expand and enhance your playing.
