What to expect in my Drum Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
In a drum lesson, beginning students should expect to become familiar with the names of the drums, how to handle the sticks, reading drum notation, playing drum rudiments, and three to four limb coordination with a song to play along to. Intermediate students will learn about stickings, phrasings, reading drum notation, and the dynamics of the drum kit, as well as rudiments and multiple genres with play alongs.
