About Me
Hello! I am Dr. Kyle, and I have been playing the trombone for 18 years. I recently completed my Doctorate in Music Performance at the University of Kentucky, and I am now looking to build a studio back in my home of East Tennessee. Furthermore, I have almost 10 years of experience teaching music both one-on-one and in sectional settings at the middle-, high-, and collegiate-levels. Although my primary instrument is the trombone, I also have experience teaching baritone/euphonium and tuba. In addition to teaching, I also compose, arrange, and perform professionally. Currently, I am the Principal Trombone for Tim Zimmerman & the King's Brass, an internationally touring brass band. I look forward to meeting you.
