Hello I am Davon. I'm a 2011 of graduate of Delgado community college where I recieved my associate of arts degree in jazz studies. I've been playing my since the age of 11 where I recieved formal training form the minister of music at my church. At the age of 15 I began playing for my church. while in high school I was in the band for two years where I played the alto saxophone. i'm a well versed musician where my studies are jazz/gospel-traditional&contemporary.  I'm currently the minister of music of two churches where I teach my choirs the fundamentals of music theory such as sight reading and how to sing in timing. I want to create a fun and learning atmosphere for students where they can enjoy what they do. While at Delgado community college  I played in the jazz ensemble where I learned how to play with other musician and be a team player. With the formal training I want to make learning fun and interesting for the students at they pursue their musical journey.
