Jamari began singing at the age of 8 years old. Over the years, she developed her skills further by enrolling in speciality opera programs and studying music performance at Mercer and BowieStateUniversity. She gained performance experience in several areas in the east coast including New York and Georgia by playing at such venues as churches, festivals, and Opera productions and with acts such as Dionne Warwick, the late Carmen Balthrop, Marvin Winans, and more. Though Jamari can teach many different genres of music, her musical personal favorites are classical and gospel which had great influence on her style of singing. Jamari loves music because it has been of her life since she was little and loves teaching music because she would love to inspire a new generation of singers and musicians.
