Hi!! I'm Seth. I'm a performer, music educator, composer/arranger, and luthier currently based in Florida. I began my formal music education studying the classical guitar at the University of Idaho, where I graduated with a Master's Degree in Classical Guitar Performance. I value variety and diversity in music: I study and regularly perform Jazz, Folk, and Latin American Music, as well as build my own instruments. I completed a second Master's degree in Musicology from Florida State University where I led the FSU Andean Ensemble.

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
I teach to the needs to my students; I don't believe that a single approach works for everyone. For students of the Classical Guitar, I recommend music reading and teach established repertoire. For jazz students, I focus on recordings and aural skills. Though I do recommend a few books for my students, I provide the majority of materials for lessons.

Private Education:
In addition to my formal studies in Classical Guitar with James Reid at the University of Idaho, I studied Classical Guitar with award-winning Chilean guitarist Esteban Espinoza. I have studied Jazz guitar privately with several instructors, including Daniel Pinilla.
Performing Experience:
My performing experience ranges from concert halls to cafés. I enjoy performing restaurant gigs, and currently perform several times a month.
Experience Teaching:
I love to work with students of all ages and abilities; I have been a private instructor for more than a decade, and taught both elementary school (K-8) and university music classes.
