Hi there! I'm Daniel, and I'm absolutely passionate about music—it's been the driving force in my life for as long as I can remember. With over 15 years of experience playing guitar, I've had the privilege of exploring many facets of music—from the deep foundations of theory to the freedom and expression of improvisation. But what truly excites me as an instructor is helping my students develop a genuine connection with their instrument and the music they create. As a guitarist, my approach is rooted in ear training and improvisation. I believe that the true joy of playing an instrument comes from being able to express yourself musically, and the best way to do that is by developing your ear and learning to "speak" through your instrument. I focus on helping you recognize musical patterns, trust your intuition, and build the confidence to improvise—whether you're playing by yourself or jamming with others. Improvisation is a key skill that allows you to be creative and free in your playing, and it’s something I prioritize in my lessons right from the start. I’m not a fan of the traditional “start-with-the-basics” approach that focuses too heavily on reading sheet music and memorizing theory before you can have fun making music. Instead, I believe in giving you the tools to hear and feel the music first. Once you start to improvise and develop your ear, music theory naturally falls into place—it’s simply a way to describe what you’re already playing and hearing. Whether you're a beginner who’s just picked up a guitar or an experienced player looking to push your improvisation and ear training to the next level, I’m here to guide you.
