I'm Allen, a saxophonist from Birmingham, Alabama. I've been playing the saxophone for over a decade, and spent the last years travelling the country with a band, playing shows at some of the largest venues in the country. I'm constantly performing; I have a passion for the saxophone that I hope I can translate through my teachings! Some of my favorite saxophone players include Kenni Holmen, Michael Brecker, and Andy Snitzer! My background includes a degree from the University of North Texas. As someone that participated in many different ensembles during my time there, I feel well versed enough to help achieve your goals in any genre of saxophone playing. Lessons should be fun. Lessons should be very thoughtful with material. Lessons should not feel like homework. These are all problems that I had when I was first learning, when I could have progressed farther and faster otherwise. Let me be the teacher that really takes ownership of your progress!
