Hi, my name is Jordan, and I am a Saxophonist from Cypress, TX. I have been a student of music for 8 years. Classical saxophone repertoire has fueled my musical endeavors for many years now, and I have recently started to become more jazz oriented. My teaching style is a bit more direct and forward I would say. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I believe anyone can improve you just have to keep trying. In my lessons, you can expect to learn as much as you allow me to teach. I like to tell my students that anything is possible if you practice. My favorite thing about teaching is when my students actually reach their goals. My favorite performance is Omar Thomas' performance of Fantasia by Claude T. Smith. My students love that I am friendly and relatable. I primarily teach saxophone, but I am also learning clarinet currently, so hopefully I will be able to teach that effectively soon.
