Hello! I'm Christy, and I am a 10-year piano instructor and a lifelong piano player! My local music experience includes being an accompanist for one of the Shawnee Mission school district high schools. Along with that position, I had the opportunity to accompany several solo voice, band and string students in local and state competitions. I also enjoyed a brief time as the Music Librarian for SMSD before starting a family. I've also enjoyed playing for many weddings and local community events. I believe in making piano lessons enjoyable for everyone no matter what your age! My goals as your teacher would be to build a strong foundation on piano fundamentals while also teaching you some wonderful duets and the songs you want to enjoy right from the start!
