Emily began playing piano at the age of 7. Over the years, she developed her skills further by continual weekly lessons. She gained performance experience in the Portland and Saint Louis areas, by playing at such venues, for state-wide competitions. Though Emily can teach many different genres of music, her musical personal favorites are classical and ragtime, which had great influence on her style of playing. Emily loves music because it's a great way to express your emotions and destress, and loves teaching music because I want to pass along my passion for and knowledge of music to others.
