I love music and I love helping kids learn music! I am the ward pianist and hope to someday become a music therapist. I have taken piano since I myself was about six years old and I know much learning starts young! I am the oldest of eight children and have a lot of experience in childcare for this reason. I also have grown up in many choirs and have trained in private vocal sessions as well. My mother was a music teacher at my school, and I learned a lot from her. I have the least amount of training in guitar and am mostly self-taught as I learned while on the mission. I can teach you or your child the basic chords however as well as a few easy songs such as "Over the Rainbow" and "Nearer my God to Thee"..

I am a beginner to intermediate level teacher! If you have young kids who want to learn a hymn, a classic folk song or scales, I'm your gal!
Formal Education:
I am currently a student at Brigham Young University Idaho! In the process of getting a bachelor's degree in psychology with the plan to go to graduate school for a music therapy degree. I graduated from high school in 2022 and served a full time mission to Richmond Virginia Spanish speaking.
Performing Experience:
I have grown up taking part in private recitals as well as performing for larger audiences in choirs for competition.
Experience Teaching:
I am a young new teacher eager to help children get their feet wet and begin their journey learning music! My goal is to help every student leave at least one percent more accomplished than they came! Learning should be fun!
