About Me

Hi, my name is Meredith and I am a piano teacher from Edmond, Oklahoma. I have been a student of music for 10 years. My teaching style can best be described as fun and inclusive. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I truly value a passion for music above all else and I am great at instilling confidence in my students. In my lessons, you can expect to learn not only piano, but a good base of music theory that can be applied to any instrument as well. I like to tell my students music should be fun and something you enjoy doing as a student. My favorite thing about teaching is getting to work with so many different people from different walks of life, it is super fun getting to connect with people because of music. My students love that I keep lessons fun while still teaching them valuable piano skills. I primarily teach pop/rock piano styles, but I can also teach jazz and classical.
