Kevin is an experienced teacher having taught voice for over 6 years to diverse populations in both Los Angeles and his hometown of Chicago. has taught with organizations such as Chicago A Cappella, HHW School of the Performing Arts, and LA Opera. As a skilled songwriter and multi-genre vocalist, Kevin is known for his rich baritone sound and deep understanding of the voice portrayed in his vocal arrangements as well as in his performance practice. He holds a Bachelors in Vocal Arts from USC’s Thornton School of Music, and spent his time in university gaining expertise in several musical genres, including but not limited to: choral music, pop/rnb, songwriting, contemporary a cappella, musical theater, and opera. This has led to him becoming a professional session singer in the Los Angeles area working on projects such as Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, CREED III, Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, as well as having the opportunity to work with artists such as Rihanna, Hozier, Jennifer Hudson, Pentatonix, and Scott Hoying. has also enjoyed success in his classical music pursuits having toured Ireland and Italy with choirs, and performing in shows such as Cherubin Massenet, Into the Woods Sondheim, and Don Giovanni Mozart to name a few. As a songwriter, Kevin has completed USC’s Songwriting curriculum and can help students of all levels write songs they are proud of and that capture the attention of their intended audience. He has also played ukulele for 9 years and is confident in his ability to get any beginner to a comfortable level where they can play anything they desire.
