Mikelle began playing 12 years beginning at the age of 4. Over the years, she developed her skills further by local competitions, festivals, and showcases. She gained performance experience in the Rexburg, Idaho area by playing at such venues as Barrus Concert Hall and Madison Performing Arts and with acts such as Miss Madison 2022. Though Mikelle can teach many different genres of music, her musical personal favorites are classical which had great influence on her style of playing. Mikelle loves music because it helps her come closer to family and friends and loves teaching music because she wants to share her gifts with others.
