Roger has always loved music from an early age. He began playing piano in 3rd grade and continued his education by learning guitar and songwriting during college. His musical influences include The Beatles, Billy Joel, Elton John, and many classic rock bands .Roger's favorite thing about music is that it is a form of self expression that also allows you to vent all of your stress from the week and his favorite thing about teaching music is having students believe they are incapable only to see later on that they always had the potential to be great musicians. One of his favorite teaching experiences was teaching a blind student to improv.
