Ye Ji L.

Ye Ji has always loved music from an early age. She began singing and playing the piano at age seven and has continued her singing education and career until now. She recently graduated from Florida State University with a doctorate in Voice Performance. At FSU, she has been performing the leading roles in the opera every year, including Mozart’s Magic Flute, The Marriage of Figaro, and Rossini’s The Barber of Seville. Ye Ji's favorite thing about music is that it instantly makes you happy and lifts your mood. Her favorite thing about teaching music is to enjoy the beauty of music together and help students to love what they do more by teaching them healthier techniques and insights. One of her favorite teaching experiences was teaching as a replacement for a voice professor at FSU and working with an incredibly talented college student.
