About Me

I played jazz guitar since 1970. I moved from the East coast to Eugene in 1973 and performed in many venues around Oregon.

I taught 5 different music classes at Land Community College for about 8 years through the Adult Education Dept. back in the late 1970s and I help out as a volunteer at The Jazz Station and do a jazz jam with whoever shows up.

Chord Melody playing is my favorite style but I'm not limited to that.

I would like to teach all levels of jazz.

Dennis Ge. has over 40 years of music experience in the Eugene area.

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons

- Intermediate

Understand basic bar chords and open string chords. And a desire to learn jazz guitar.

I studied with the late great Howard Roberts (studio musician from L.A.).

I performed around Oregon either as a soloist or with a group.

I've been teaching for 30 years.
