Jon has always loved music from an early age. He began playing guitar at the age of 13.. Through the years he’s played in several bands and even wrote a jingle for a local restaurant. Growing up his musical interests started with Punk Rock, later moving into more Classic Rock until finding a love for all things Metal. Later on he found great enjoyment in more acoustic folksy artists as well as effects-driven Psychedelic Rock. He feels your musical tastes should evolve along with your playing. It’s great to have favorites, but learning everything you can helps you become a better guitarist. Jon loves to work with students who are passionate about music and playing.
