Mark began playing guitar at the age of 14. Over the years, he developed his skills further by performing as a lead guitarist for Shadow Band, Razer and Jane Doe. He gained performance experience in the Nashville area by playing at such venues as Commodore Grill, Cafe Coco, Bowery Vault, Nashville Palace, Cafe Indigo, Cafe Carpe, Curb Cafe, The Celtic Cup, and with acts such as J.R. Jones, Jane Doe, Euphoria, Razer and Shadow Band. Though Mark can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are folk rock, blues and power pop which had great influence on his style of playing.Mark loves music because he has continuously come up with song ideas and is constantly writing new songs and loves teaching music because it gives him enjoyment to pass on his knowledge to his students.
