Katherine began singing at the age of four. Over the years, she developed her skills further by attending the Chicago College of Performing Arts. She gained performance experience in the New York area by singing at such venues as Carnegie Hall and Opera America. Though Katherine can teach many different genres of music, her musical personal favorites are musical theater, pop, and opera, which had all have a great influence on her style of singing. Katherine loves music because of its incredible ability it to comfort and encourage us and loves teaching music because it is so inspiring to see others grow on their journey as singers and master skills that they never knew they could! REVIEW: Katherine is a superb vocal coach! She has helped me expand my singing voice and challenged me to hit notes I didn’t know I could. This has been a goal of mine for so many years and I finally got to work with someone who is truly passionate about singing the way I am.
