Katherine began singing at the age of four. Over the years, she developed her skills further by attending the Chicago College of Performing Arts. She gained performance experience in the New York area by singing at such venues as Carnegie Hall and Opera America. Though Katherine can teach many different genres of music, her musical personal favorites are musical theater, pop, and opera, which had all have a great influence on her style of singing. Katherine loves music because of its incredible ability it to comfort and encourage us and loves teaching music because it is so inspiring to see others grow on their journey as singers and master skills that they never knew they could!
