About Me

My name is Matthew, I've been playing the guitar for close to 20 years. I started at first by learning albums by Staind Metallica and my guitar instructor made an emphasis to teach me to play classical music like Bach! In high school I took lessons for 3 years from Vince Kirk and I played in the church band on Sundays. In my free time I was always practicing how to write music and improvise. My friends and I also played and wrote extreme metal! In sschool, took music theory classes and excelled, and incorporated a better understanding of music into my guitar playing. So if you're wanting to learn how to shred, or just interested in learning your favorite songs it would be my pleasure to join you in your musical journey and pass along what I have learned over the years to help grow your confidence in your instrument and in life.
