About Me
Hello, I'm Nicholas. I picked up the guitar at 4years old studying flamenco guitar. I then pursued a music degree from Eastern New Mexico University. Using my minor in music technology, I have established myself as an audio engineer and performer. I have played in many groups and ensembles performing in local and international venues. I hope to be a mentor that will inspire and provide insight feeding your child's creativity.

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
At the beginner level, you can expect to learn basic knowledge like chord shapes and basic techniques. Some simple songs to start. At the intermediate level, you can expect more advance technique, rhythm, and intermediate songs. At the advanced level, we will explore your musicality by developing your ability to improvise, transcribe, and more. At all levels we will work on ear training, musical notation, theory, and musical essential that will help you in your musical path. Starting at intermediate and advance levels, we will also work with accompaniment. The choice of electric or acoustic guitar is left to the student to decide.
Formal Education:
Bachelor of Science in Music and minor in music technology.
Performing Experience:
I have lots of performance experience from solo performance to large choir ensembles. I also have experience in the production side of performance having worked as and audio tech with Santa Fe Audio Visual.
Experience Teaching:
I have taught before with the Maria Benitez Institute for Spanish Arts. I taught flamenco guitar to children 6-13 for three years.
