Hi, my name is ROBERT and I am a SINGER originally from NEW ORLEANS. I have been a student of music for 40 years. My musical influences are vast, with a strong leaning toward GOSPEL and SOUL and I also enjoy JAZZ. My teaching style can best be described as SOULFUL. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I LIKE TO WORK FROM THE STUDENT'S STRENGTHS OR HELP THEM DISCOVER THEIR VOCAL STRENGTHS AND AREAS OF OPPORTUNITY FOR IMPROVEMENT. In my lessons, you can expect to learn BREATHING TECHNIQUES AND CONTROL, POPER PITCH, TONE, AND HOW TO SING LIKE YOU!. I like to tell my students TO SING AS IF NO ONE IS LISTENING BUT YOUR OWN SOUL. My favorite thing about teaching is THE EXCITEMENT OF HELPING SOMEONE REACH THEIR MUSICAL GOALS. My favorite performance was EVERY TIME I'VE PUBLICLY WORSHIPED THE SAVIOR. My students love that I LISTEN TO THEM, HELP THEM DEVELOP AND REACH VOCAL GOALS. I primarily teach SINGING TO YOUR STRENGTHS AND DEVELOPING NEW VOCAL ABILITIES, but I can also teach BASIC BREATHING, TONE, AND ANNUCIATION. My approach as a teacher is to FIRST DETERMINE THE STUDENT'S LEVEL OF ABILITY, DISCUSS THEIR VOCAL GOALS, AND SET A PATH TO REACH THEIR OBJECTIVES. Thanks for taking a look at my profile.
