Hi, my name is Brett and I am a songwriter from Oxford. I have been a student of music for 12 years. My musical influences include Albert King, Prince, Shakey Graves, and Bahamas and I also enjoy jazz instrumental. My teaching style can best be described as rewarding. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I want to allow students to create and improvise!. In my lessons, you can expect to learn the musical alphabet and learn to spell with it. I like to tell my students ambition and need for creativity leads to artistic epiphany. My favorite thing about teaching is results! My favorite performance was last show before COVID at my old Community College with Campus Country! I primarily teach country and blues, but I can also teach classical and jazz.
