Hi, my name is Amanda and I am a voice/piano teacher from Jeffersonville Indiana. I have been a student of music for 10 plus years. My teaching style can best be described as nuturing and motivating. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that music is not a talent that you are born with it takes many years to fully and completely understand it's heart. In my lessons, you can expect to learn technique and new fun ways to unlock your inner music abilities. I like to tell my students that advanced music ability takes time not talent. My favorite thing about teaching is watching someone do something they never thought they could do. Seeing the look in their eye after they realize that they can do things they never thought they could. My favorite performance was L'Hymne À L'Amor performed by Celin Dion on the Effle Tower. I primarily teach voice, but I can also teach beginner piano and Guitar. My approach as a teacher is to have fun shake things up and encourage a safe environment free of judgment.
