As a versatile electric and acoustic guitarist with over 20 years of performance and teaching experience, I believe I can provide students with the skills and inspiration needed to thrive in their musical journey. Throughout my career, I have performed in a variety of bands, ranging from original rock groups to cover bands, and I continue to write and perform my own music. These experiences have helped me develop a wide-ranging musical style that spans rock, metal, acoustic, jazz, and world music; allowing me to teach diverse musical genres and techniques to students of all levels. In addition to my performance background, I have a deep passion for teaching. I previously taught electric and acoustic guitar at Premier Center for the Arts, where I also participated in musical theater performances, supporting productions like *Rent*, *Sweeney Todd*, and *The Rocky Horror Picture Show*. I have worked with students on developing foundational skills in reading music, improvisation, transcribing, and ensemble playing, tailoring my approach to each individual's goals and learning style. My ability to adapt to different learning preferences, combined with my knowledge of a wide variety of guitar techniques, allows me to offer a comprehensive and enjoyable learning experience for my students. I believe that fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment is key to helping students build confidence and improve their musical abilities.

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
I teach students what they want to learn and what centers around their interests musically, as well as teaching technique and musical theory that pertains to it. This is the cornerstone of my philosophy to sustain interest, foster enjoyability, create momentum, and to see real results at the end of the day. Whether you acquired your first guitar and have no idea where to start, or you are an advanced virtuoso and want to learn that impossible tune can't seem to grasp-I got you covered. I also enjoy providing support with the creative process, songwriting, recording, and producing.
