Hey everyone! My name is Joshua, and I’m a professional saxophonist, arranger, and educator with years of experience performing, teaching, and composing across various styles. I specialize in jazz but have a deep love for all kinds of music, from classical to pop and everything in between. As a performer, I’ve played in numerous settings—from solo gigs and jazz combos to big bands and large-scale productions. I’ve worked with top-tier musicians, led my own jazz groups, and even started a wedding and event band. I’m also passionate about arranging and composing, creating music for big bands, saxophone ensembles, and original jazz contrafacts. Beyond performance, I have a strong background in music education. I’ve helped students of all levels improve their technique, improvisation, and musicality, whether they’re just picking up the saxophone or refining their skills for professional gigs. My approach is hands-on, personalized, and rooted in real-world experience. I also dive into music production, gaming content creation, and even comedy-infused jazz performances.
