Hi, my name is Heidy and I am from Rio Grande City, Tx! Although I am not a music major, I have been playing saxophone for the past 11 years. I am a student at Lamar University, where I joined the Showcase of Southeast Texas and played/ learned cymbals for about 3 years. After the first 6 months of learning cymbals, I became section leader. Now, I play saxophone for the Symphonic band at Lamar and am a part of Kappa Kappa Psi, National Fraternity.
