Hi! My name is Samantha, nicknamed Samadeus Mozart, and I am a composer, music educator and singer-songwriter/performer from Long Island. I have been a student of music for 18 years. I currently hold an associates degree in music performance and am furthering my studies to continue performing, teaching, and to become a music therapist. I primarily teach voice and piano but I also love to teach guitar, ukulele, bass guitar and drums. My musical influences include incredible singer-songwriters such as Phoebe Bridgers, Lana Del Rey, Hayley Williams of Paramore, Mitski, Taylor Swift, Tracy Chapman, Joni Mitchell and more. I enjoy most genres anywhere from classical to pop rock and beyond. My teaching style can best be described as demonstrative, professional, and fun. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that music should always be enjoyable. In my lessons, you can expect to learn fundamentals, music theory, repertoire/ songs, composition/ songwriting, and more. I tailor my lesson plan to each students specific goals. Whatever the goal, I will meet each student at their level and assist them on their journey to help them grow into the best, and most confident musician they can be! :
