About Me

Hi, my name is Ian and I am a drummer from Rogers Tx. I have been a student of music for 4 years. My musical influences include rock, country, and big band jazz, and I also enjoy working out and helping people. My teaching style can best be described as hands on. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying through perceverance and confidence you can do anything. In my lessons, you can expect to learn the fundamentals or the basics, and intermediate level techniques. I like to tell my students stick with it. My favorite thing about teaching is learning more. My favorite performance was with a jazz band. My students love that I put time and effort into teaching and learning. I primarily teach drums, but I can also teach other percussion and guitar.
