Tommy began playing drums at the age of 5. Over the years, he developed his skills further by playing around with friends and eventually started and small group in middle school. He gained performance experience in the percussion area by playing at such venues as Chicago and with acts such as church. Though Tommy can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are hip hop which had great influence on his style of playing.Tommy loves music because it helps relax and loves teaching music because nobody taught me when I was growning up.
