17 Years
Jonathan began playing guitar at the age of 17. Over the years, he developed his skills further by relentlessly learning/practicing guitar theory, finger exercises, scales, chords, modes, etc. He also enjoys learning songs from his favorites bands as well as writing his own music. He gained performance experience in the Southwestern area by playing at such venues as The Blue Phoenix, The Armory, The Sound Stage, Zombies, and with acts such as NV, The Convalescence, Unknown, Walking Corpse Syndrome and Wolfskin. Though Jonathan can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are Rock/Metal and classical which had great influence on his style of playing. Jonathan loves music because the powerful influence it has on the world and loves teaching music because he wants to share his passion and talent with anyone who is interested in learning. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned professional, Jonathan can help you expand and enhance your playing. Jonathan is excited to learn how he can help you reach your musical goals.
