Hi, my name is Finley, and I am a guitar player from the small town of Clover, SC. I have been a student of music for over 8 years, and my musical influences include Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Slash, and I also enjoy some heavier things such as Metallica and Pantera. In my lessons, you can expect to learn your important chords, lead ideas, and songs of the student's choice. My teaching style can best be described as a song-based approach, where I build off music that already exists, and give you the tools you need to make your own music. My teaching philosophy prioritizes a fun, student centered approach that keeps the student engaged and ready to learn more. I like to tell my students to learn what you love, because it is much easier to practice when it is fun. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing a true love for the instrument start to develop.
